A condensor is a box that has a condensing coil, compressor, condenser fan motor, capacitor, and a contactor in it. The condensor is usally located on the outside of the biuiding. This is where the heat that was abosorbed in the home, is released to the outside, through air cooled fins. Air cooled condensor's are the most common type of condensors. They are usually powered by 240VAC single phase electric. The air flow is sucked in from allĀ  sides of the condenser and then blown out the top.
