Checking the water temperature settingis a must if you are having a problem with noise in your pipes. If the water temperature setting is to high, the water will actually boil inside of the pipes, creating a loud water hammering sound. Also the temperature should be checked in reference totype of application that best fits the system:

Radiators/baseboards 180°F

Radiant flooring 105°-120°F
